As a mother and grandmother, I recognize how difficult it is for a child to be hospitalized. Our gift and visit brings healing and lightens his/her experience. While visiting Frada, I gave her a fashion doll as she went in for a surgical procedure. A huge contagious smile spread across her face and her Mom had tears of joy in her eyes. We cannot change their situation but we are fortunate to distract them for a few moments. My experiences as a life coach and Doula have been instrumental in my work with  hospital staff and patients. I find it gratifying to be on the giving end of bringing joy, cheer, and healing to children and their families.
